Hello, everyone. I'm an automotive engineer/designer and CAD/CAS mostly spline-modeller.
More than 30 years in 3D: Autocad/3DMax/SolidWorks/NX/Catia/Alias/Rhino(Grasshopper)...

In 2010 I was really excited with the first version of MOI1 GUI and customization and process simplified logic!!
I translated it UI into russian with file RussianStrings.txt (i can upload it if you want)

Today I tryed to translate downloaded V4Trial for my 9-years son first educational experience (without parametrization or model-trees of scene) and see bug with code-type - see it attached.
In HTML it can be solved with meta type setup 1251:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1251">

Can you help me or may be this bug will be done in V5?

Hi ilyamelekhov, MoI is expecting the RussianStrings.txt file to be in Unicode format. If you convert your text file from Windows-1251 encoding to instead be either UTF-8 or UTF-16 Unicode encoding with signature mark then it should work.

I've attached a version that has been converted to UTF-8 encoding.

Hmmm, I'm not sure but it might be possible that versions older than v4 may only be expecting UTF-16 format, but v4 should work with any kind of Unicode format if the signature mark is present.

Dear Michael,
Let me say, i can advice to take your attention into real-time-rendering and animation tools (not Styles but Shaders and lights as objects in scene).

I know major CAD/CAS use optimisation of shaders to video hard accelerators and goes to external big softs for rendering needs like VRay, Maxwell, MentalRay, KeyShot and etc...
(within not-correct Monte-Carlo (Russian Rulette))) method to cut Light-tracing calculations trees)
I think it's good for Real-time-renderings previews and big machines, but early versions of RenderMan shaders was fake but very good-looked with "fake Radiosity" (exaggerated color transfer/color bleeding)...

I miss all these tools for example in Rhino. I use Grasshopper plug-in Rhino not only for parametrization at modeling and for animation too, you can see my work here

It can animate colours/opacity as wish at the process and when rendering animation times...

And all CADs and CASs, even Maya, doesn't calculate and doesn't limit me as modeller with collisions of objects in scenes. I very need these default constrains in each soft I used...

It's a perpective!
