Hello Everyone,
So this is just a tiny QoL request because it's not really a problem. I usually use "RotateAxis" instead of "Rotate" because it allows me to rotate objects according the axis I want in the 3D View. If I need to rotate from flat views, I can simply use the rotation icon above the Edit Frame. Besides that, I have "RotateAxis" set to "R" and "Rotate" set to "Shift+R".
I'm thinking if it's possible to write a script that allows "RotateAxis" to revert into using "Rotate" when the same point is picked (around that point from flat views) instead of just cancelling the operation or displaying an error. this would allow it to also work from flat views, and give the freedom of choosing the axis from the 3D view, without requiring two separate commands.
