Hi Tolya, it looks like the problem is with these objects here:

If you hide just those by clicking the eye icon shown above, then you should be able to work normally after that.

Those particular objects have some messed up surfaces in them that have control points at huge coordinate values like x = 227170316442 .

It appears that the base undeformed objects already have this problem and then they go really crazy when they are additionally deformed.

It appears that these are the bad surfaces here, it's hard to select them because it fails to build a display mesh on them:

I think it's just those 2 surfaces on each part that are bad. They'll probably need to be deleted and rebuilt.

To delete those I'd probably try selecting the faces that are surrounding them , then use Edit > Separate to break those apart from the main object, then join them back together leaving those ones behind.

Hi Tolya, that's great!

Do you by any chance remember how those particular surfaces were created? Did they come from a STEP import or were they modeled inside MoI?

There is probably some kind of bug in whatever process created them, but it is hard to know where just looking at the end result. If I was able to repeat the steps that created them that would make it easier to find out what went wrong and try to fix it.

Thanks, - Michael

Hi Tolya, if you have the file for that object that was exported out from SpaceClaim can you please e-mail me a link for it at moi@moi3d.com ?

Maybe it can be solved by some kind of tune-up to the MoI importer.

Thanks, - Michael
