Extrude question

It is helpful that many commands keep the last used value in memory when
you execute them repeatedly.

For example : When typing in "2" for Chamfer the next time when executing
Chamfer "2" will show up again.

This functionality is not integrated in the Extrude command.

Is there a specific reason for this or could the "memory" functionality be added ?

Hi Tom, when you are in the "Pick extrusion point" step of the Extrude command, if you move your mouse around in the viewport you will see that the distance is updated with every mouse move.

That's the difference between Extrude and Chamfer as you were comparing. In Chamfer the command does not go immediately into an interactive mouse mode where the value is being updated with every mouse move, while Extrude does.
