with the scale of the drawing there are irritations. I have created the drawing in mm and recipients of the drawing say the components are too large by a factor of ten.
Of course, I can scale the whole thing down. But I would like to clarify this.

What software are they importing the STEP file into where it is getting the incorrect size?

Hi Mala, thanks for sending me the file through e-mail. The problem is what I described above - your model file does not have any unit system set in it.

When you open your .3dm file and go to Options > General > Unit system as shown above, you can see it has a value of "No unit system".

STEP does not have a concept of "no unit system" in it, so when you create a STEP file in this situation it will end up using a default of meters for the units.

To avoid that from happening and to transfer the desired units as millimeters, you need to set the current unit system in MoI to millimeters before generating the STEP file. You do that on the Options dialog under General > "Unit system".
