Hi,
I need to make an object longer.
Without loosing my construction.
How can I make the red longer in order to reach the green objekt. Without loosing the bottom wholes of the red one?
In c4d it is clear to me. Not here. Tried it selecting geometry points...hmmmm´...it is not an option, I guess.
Thx. Best Mala...

Hi Mala, it can be difficult to do by selecting points because points are on potentially larger "underlying surfaces". There is some description of that here:
https://moi3d.com/faq#Q:_Why_does_show_points_work_for_some_objects_but_not_others.3F

So the general method is like Chri shows, you need to cut your object so that you have 3 parts, 2 end zones which can be moved and a middle zone that can be stretched or reconstructed between the ends.

Move holes to new location. (Their inner surface) (Or at least their generating circle?)
Delete all 4 holes, but keep their inner surface, detached.
Scale solid picking proper points.
Re-Trim the 4 holes.
(Scale with holes turns them into ellipse looking holes.)
