Workflow for modeling from existing blueprints

I've noticed that when modeling from existing blueprints where I want to end up with precisely matching dimensions, I'm winding up spending most of my time creating all the base curves. I've recently tried creating them as sketches in FreeCAD, then export to MoI and building all the surfaces from that. Has anyone else tried this approach, and more importantly, am I setting myself up for a fall?

Hi there. As someone who works mainly from blueprints, and has done so for many years, you should try to keep the entire project in Moi.

And after how many control points are use for make a curve who have a direction changement ?

That doesn't really address my point. The raison d'etre of my approach is that I can enter constraints directly from the blueprint one for one.
