Hi folks. Here are some views of a drawing I've created for a line of outdoor railway cars I produce. The various elements are used to 3D print investment casting masters, CNC turn wheels and axles, and laser cut plywood body parts.

Cheers,

Chris

Very nice!

I’d really appreciate knowing what equipment you are using and/or recommend for that type / scale projects?

3D printer?
CNC?
Laser cutter?

I’m trying to slowly transition from my full size workshop (tablesaw, lathe, mill, bandsaw, etc) to smaller equipment (…less dangerous equipment…) that is compatible with my aging eyes and other body parts! I have a 3D printer (filament) that I’ve been learning to use. But also want to eventually get a small hobbyist lathe/mill (CNC capable?) and laser cutter.

Thank you.

Fantastic job. Those prints are so clean - I guess it's a resin printer?

Thank you all.

Printed on my Phrozen Shuffle as tests, I'll use my Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K for the actual patterns.

Best,

Chris

PS-attached a live steam loco I drew with Moi. SO MANY OBJECTS. LOL
