even with the followme tool I suppose you must erase some intersection with the model if you have a complex path or strange form ;)

No, u dont need to erase, at least i didnt have to erase it in my work. Sketchup really has some good features ! Still i need your help people how to do this !

Maybe like this : Select the curves lines as path : Join / Offset / Select the form Sweep with 2 rails
else you must place the form with rotation at each angle and make a Loft straight
or better trace the internal straigth line for replace the Offset function if you have an complex path inclined or other ;)

Hi Necko - MoI does not currently do corner mitering for sweep with one rail, that is ideally what you would want there but it won't be available until version 2.0 .

Until then the easiest way is how Pilou shows, good job Pilou!

Not much longer, mostly just some parts of the documentation to finish up.

Re: Sketchup - don't forget that Sketchup is in version 6, and MoI is in version 1. There will still be more stuff coming for MoI in future versions.

And maybe boolean operations in GSketchup are a little less easy than in Moi ;)
Each prog has it own qualities ;)
here sketchup you can make boolean but...you must make something by hands ;)

I know that people and when u see me here and not in sketchup forum, u can bet that i like this software more !
