Hello guys,

I think it is not asked before but what do you think is best to be used alongside a cad modeling software? Mouse or Wacom tablets?

Yet I want to know other opinions on this matter as well.

Do u think a gaming mouse with programable buttons would be good?

Did any of you used "3D Connexion" mouse?

What do u suggest?

Hi Psygorn, I don't think there is any one "correct" answer, it's whatever feels most natural to you.

If you have spent a lot of time drawing with a regular pencil and paper then a pen tablet could be comfortable for you.

If you have not held a pen or pencil regularly and have spent most of your time using a mouse then probably a mouse instead of a tablet will be more comfortable.

Which particular one is up to personal preference.

I use mostly a Wacom 24" Cintiq when I am at my studio, a gaming mouse or a little Wacom bluetooth tablet when I am out and about!

For vector graphics and 3D modeling
I prefer to use a mouse and the keyboard.
Even though MOI is designed for tablets in Mind.

In Bitmap programs I use a tablet more often
because it's easier to paint with it.

I recently purchased a 15.6 Xp pen graphics tablet. It is so cool. The quick buttons and the red dial selector work like a dream. It was a little tricky getting it all dialed in. But I am so happy to be using a graphics tablet. And it works so well with. Moi, Viacad, Blender, and Alibre atom. Sculpting in Blender is so amazing. The pin point accuracy with these tablets is wonderful.
