When I make a grid with the array function from a cube i would like to have in the objects folder the name of every cube similar on a chessfield. a1 the first cube. b1 first in the second row, a2 second cube in the first row and so on. Is there a scribt for this problem?

Hi Rudl, sorry no there isn't currently a script for automatically naming exactly like that.

You can set up a shortcut key though to bring up the object edit name dialog, see here:
