Hi Michael,
why is it possible to attach/connect all labels to the sample model, but not "DGma"?
What am I doing wrong?

Best regards
Bodo-Lutz

Hi,

I think you have something wrong in your main object.

It's a joined surface and the boolean operation has problem with this point.
You can view where the problem is located with a SelectNakedEdges script.

Your text is not included in the object too.

Hi,
All the text was added to this model part afterwards, but together and at once.
My question is why not all letters will go in contact with surface of the main part. The "x" in this line and the rest of them are connected without any difficulty.

Hi Bodo-Lutz, one issue is that there is an area inside your model where the "wall thicknesss" is pinched down to 0, that may cause some problems with volume operations:

Hi Bodo-Lutz, please try with this attached version it should boolean union ok now.

I used Edit > Separate and Edit > Join to get rid of the naked edges in the model to make it a solid (although there is still the 0 thickness "pinch point" which may be a problem for other things down the line) and also stretched out the text so that it pushed a little distance down through the model instead of skimming right along it.
