Hull design using MoI. Classic seaworthy Boats and Yachts.
The shape of "Pontus Princess" is inspired from "Black Sea" ancient small cargo carriers.
As shown in the second picture, only five curves are lofted (loose) to obtain the rounded shape.

Hi Eryon, this is good result, I use the stations and the profiles, and if you have to work on plans of the lines of a hull, it is very complicated with making a precise copy, I also use Blender because of a habit that has been established for years and then I import the subdivision surfaces and edit them in Moi, for me it is simpler.
I also saw your site you made some beautiful models I like them.

Certainly I am pleased that you share your techniques, I also do it every now and then when I have the opportunity and I try to share some solution and workflow, I hope to do something in the future when I have more time to devote to personal projects, now I work on hulls for clients and can't spend much time and can't share certain proprietary models.

I add some explanations about the technics to "Hull design (Tjalk)" which remain valid for any hull.
Nice looking hull curves is an art rather then engineering.
But, of course, all depends in our very personal taste.
Since, I spent my childhood on old style Liberty Ship cargos (WWII), my preference goes to classic design.
Any question is welcome.
