Hi,
I need to scale planes. Relatively to their midpoint.
MOI scales from 0. How may I change the Pivot to the middle of my plane which I need to scale?

Best, Mala

How about Scale 1D and 2D?

Click the scale icon in the command panel...

Hi Mala, which method are you using currently for the scaling where it's scaling from 0?

There are several ways to scale things in MoI:

Scale by dragging a corner grip on the edit frame. This will scale from the object's center by default, it can be switched to scale from the opposite corner by clicking on one of the corner grips instead of dragging on them.

There is also the Edit size menu that pops out from the size label in the upper right corner. You can put in a size there and your selected plane will get scaled from its center point to the new bounding size.

You can also use the Scale command from the Transform tool palette. That one gives you full control over the scale origin because you pick the origin point in the first stage of the command. There is also a shortcut for picking the center as the origin by pushing the "Bounding box center" button in the command options.
