is it possible to keep the help/constructionlines visible after the tool has finished to use them for the next worlstep and delete them on a button/keypress or switch between KEEP and DELETE after a tool has finished?
sometimes i build some helplines and have to redoo this steps over and over. i realy love the intuitive and easy way to drag helplines.

And is it possible to change the standard linetype from a single line to a polyline? because i never use single lines. if i need one i hit enter after the first segment in polyline and i also have a single line.

And will there be some kind of BLOCK feature and linetype feature in the future?

Yes, you can set up a shortcut key with a script on it that will do that, see here:

It's possible but you only need to pick "Polyline" just one time in a modeling session, it will be the default for the "Lines" command set after just that one initial pick.

But to make "Polyline" the default even for the initial click, you can edit the file Lines.xml in the install's commands folder and change the ordering so that <command>polyline</command> is the first one.

I think it's likely at some point but I don't know exactly when.
