I can't cut these surfaces

I can't cut this object, I always have some errors.

I have attached the file with the various curves and surfaces to cut, and I have to cut this surface in various points to obtain a floor with wooden boards and as shown in the example attached with Moi3D this seems impossible, someone can help me.

Furthermore, on this type of surface it is practically impossible to obtain a thickness and I had to give up but now I can't even cut this element.

Here the same object that i want

and this is the screen shot of attached 3dm in the zip file attached

Thanks for any suggestion and help to solve this problem

Seems you have not neat junctions on these 3 spots ? (faces are intersected)

In very big Zoom view by the top

When i make a Boolean DIff one by one or not by the other internal walls objects that works fine...

Hi Pilou and thanks for the reply, but this is cut in two steps one with external closed surface and then I need to cut this holes after.
the surfaces you see I can cut in those areas, but it is then with the other holes that I encounter problems and some are not cut at all.

As you can see, hovewer I looked on the surfaces better and the control point are a bit messy I will try to reduce errors on these simple surfaces.

Trimmed in two steps and works on this zone you have pointed

here the messy CV on these surfaces

It's that i have suspected : when redrawing the 3 ligitious parts that works better with DIff & Trim :)
I don't rework the floor points ! (only the walls cutting)
Not evident to redraw a line cutting in the big zoom! :)
It's a boat deck?

Thanks, I will try with this workflow but anyway I also wanted to rebuild everything but now I try your suggestion I don't want to rebuild every time these plank to trim.

Thanks, worked well, but I've corrected the boundary was wrong

Hi pafurijaz,

re:

For troubleshooting I'd suggest working with curves as the cutting objects, they will be easier to examine to see problems.

To start with after I squished the base curves down to 2D I just selected them one by one to see if they were closed and this one does not have an object type of "closed crv" so it has a little opening in it somewhere:

Then the other area that could be problematic is this overlap Pilou was mentioning above, I'd get that cleared out from the curves before trying to cut with it:

Another thing to look out for - it's subtle but notice how these edges are darker than the other ones?

It looks like that because there is more than one edge drawing on top of each other there. If you zoom in to those areas you can see a small little surface sliver between larger pieces. Small slivers can be problematic for cutting operations.

Thanks Michael for these suggestions, for what you indicate as double curves are a cosmetic necessity and I need to simulate the spaces between the boards on the bridge, they are 8mm of space between the two lines.
However, I will keep these tips in mind and will try to use these techniques, thanks again.
