Hi Michael,
Found an odd "Anomaly" bug. Hesitated to mention it because it seems a 1 shot, that doesn't persist through a file save, but decided you can make the call. Maybe it catches some bug that can help down the road.
I made a video which I will embed here. Some of the steps that the video doesnt show are:
Made the rectangle cube
Make the dividing plane (Perfect name for it, by the way)
Add points to plane then copy and paste
Use "Nudge" to move to side (My LARGE nudge set to 10 units)
Use Large nudge to go back in Y by 1 step (10 units. Inches in this case)
Perform flow using lower left corner.
Flow shortens object.
"IF" I leave it in the same plane in Y as the original, the result is good.
IF I Nudge back "2 STEPS", the result is good.
IF I close and save before I do the flow, and open back up, the flow result is good.
So Again, I dont need help with this. I figued it out as a 1 shot anomaly for me. Just posting it in case you find an important bug here that you can address.
Let me know if you need to see my "10 unit Nudge" to go with this.
Hi Burr, I think the problem there is when you're clicking on the base and target surfaces you're clicking too close to the corner of the surface.
You need to click a little distance along the edge, not right at the corner. That's because it's the nearest edge to your click that will control how the surface match with each other. If you're right at the corner you're not controlling which edge is being used.
