Something surprising happens with "ReconstructCurve" for the number of points requested, in comparison with "Rebuild", when we deactivate then reactivate the visibility of the points. Perhaps an explanation for this phenomenon?

re: difference between ReconstructCurve and Rebuild - that happens because Rebuild has some special case processing for the case of a straight line where it makes a uniform curve with control points equally spaced along the line, rather than calculating an interpolated curve.
