Maybe Select the base Line Press Tab and write Flip ? No That is not...

Better Click on the Right on the Base Line
then click on the Left of the Target Line!

flip does nothing, where can I u/l the file?

FLOW just seems complete hit or miss for direction/orientation, I wish we could have live preview of result for this one

with LINE it's easy, with SURFACE seems really non intuitive UNTIL I saw this image, the 8 targets DO give reproducible result! YAY!!

Hi Jabber, upload ability has not been removed but there is a size limit of 50MB per user, if you have filled that up then go to Options on the top bar, then Attachments on the left side and delete some of your previous attachments to free up some space.

For the flow direction problem, the locations where you click on both the base and the target surfaces is significant and controls how the directions are matched.

There is some information on this in the Flow help file topic, pay special attention to the part that says this:
quote:

For non projective mode, the locations that you click on both the base surface and target surface are significant and control how the horizontal and vertical directions of each surface will be matched to one another. You need to click nearby an edge of each surface, towards the start or end of the edge. The pattern will be rotated and reflected as needed to make the picked locations match with one another. If you do not click each surface with care it is easy for unwanted rotations to happen. Following is a visual example for where to pick.

So for your case here you would pick somewhere like this on the base surface:

Then when selecting the target surface this would be the matching area that you would want to click on:

Note that you don't want to click right on the corner, it's a little bit away from the corner along one edge.
