We've got some great ice cream over here, but lately it's very commercialized. When I was a boy we had a real Italian ice cream parlor in my hometown, where an old Italian lady created her ice cream from scratch, which meant for example that banana ice cream had fresh pieces of banana in it. It was heaven. :)

I met the ice cream monster at a dinner party

in Australia we have Mr whippy vans, they play a tune as they travel through the streets giving children time to beg a dollar off thei parenst to wave the van down

This guy was very proud of the fact he conned his 6 year old that when the van was playing its tune it meant it was empty and returning to base .
it took the kid 2 years before he realized the truth !
