First... thank you to Michael and other contributors to this wonderful forum!

I'm retired 'hobbyist' making my transition from SketchUp / DSM to MoI. My only regret is that it took me soooo long to discover this great CAD program.

My projects to date are very 'beginner' compared to the many excellent, rendered projects I've perused. But for other hobbyist considering MoI, here's an example that took very little time to create based on a wooden biplane toy I had previously built. I subsequently installed the free Simlab Lite (thank you again to this forum for identifying) and, as a first-time user, had a rendered model (without any editing) in less than 30 minutes. Again... so easy compared to other comparable tools.

PS - thank you also for the DSM .sab to .sat conversion trick explained in this forum!

Yep DesignSparks Mechanical is a little more less easy than Moi but better for complex fillets! ;)
