Hello guys,

I hope you are doing well, I have got a question for you. I had created shape number 2 out of shape number 1, now my question is how can I get back to shape number 1 ( imagine I lost shape number 1)

I have tried to recreate shape number 1 using outlines of shape number 2 (Yellow lines) I tested Swipe & Network methods which gave me surfaces number 3 & 4 respectively.

My question is that is there a way I could recreate shape number 1 exactly as it was? If yes, What way/s are the best to do so?

You can check the attached file.

Best and the more speedy is copy / save somewhere your original!

A tricky tip is to launch any number of Moi sessions in the same time!
so you can make Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V (Copy / Past) of anything to any other sessions!

Thank you for your tip. But imagine I have lost the original Shape then what is/are the best way/s to recreate the original shape out of the altered one?

As I mentioned I tried Swipe & Network which gave me a shape close to Original one but it is still not the one I had started with! I just wanted to know if there is a method to do so.

A simple way is :

select your object.
Edit/separate
Select the useless surfaces and delete them.
Select the main surface
Select all edges you want delete
Delete them....
The holes disapears !

And you have your original surface.

Don't forget to select and join the surfaces to have original object.
