Hi jack, well it looks like you're pretty close. I think you need to make some sweeps and you'll want the sweep rail to be extended and bent inwards a little more than you currently have it. Then you can do a boolean union.

So something like this:

I tested another way with flow.
Not sure it's the easiest... but i think it respects the curvature

Michael's solution is better... But perhaps have you a risk with moving points in only one direction to not respect x/y curvature.

Hi:
I have done it in another way where I can control, moving the points of the rails, and finish the process.
This system is valid for rendering, I don't think it is good for CNC.

Sorry...
I don't know how the gif is attached to make the animation look in the post, please tell me how to do it.
The resolution is 1382x922 and weighs 600 Kb

Hi Booleano, for displaying the GIF image directly in your post there is a "Insert images inline" in the attachment dialog. If you push that after you upload the attachment it will insert an <img> tag into your message where the attachment will be displayed in your message. If you don't insert it into the message then it will instead be displayed only as a thumbnail (without animation) in the "attachments" section at the bottom of your message:

I have made a video too, is it inserted in the same way?

Thanks.

Hi Booleano,

re:

Actually no - a video will tend to take up a lot of space and will quickly exhaust the 50MB attachment space limit for forum attachments.

For a video it's best to put it on something like YouTube and then use their UI to get an "embed code" which you then paste into your message here.

Thank you Michael
It is the first time I respond here, until now I see every day this wonderful forum where I have been 2 months, the time I have been practicing with MOI, learning a lot from all of you who are great helping people.
It is the same technique from Michel's video, but with a Boolean union operation, it does not cut the remaining pieces, and for that reason I do it like this.
If I am wrong, I await an explanation.

Thank you all.

I believe you will have direct cut when the second object is a "solid" bigger than the cuted part! ;)

Yes indeed, but it is not fulfilled in this case.

But if you want the finished object to be a solid, this solution works.
