Hey! Big fan of Moi3D here!

Is there a way to bring back Moi V3 classic way of using Right Click for canceling operations mid command? In V4 its not behaving the same way, for example, rotating or scaling among other commands can not be canceled mid-use with Right Click and can only be done with Escape. I’ve been trying to get used to V4 way but I just lose a lot of time on constantly pressing Esc on occasions like re-picking a pivot, where previously I could just right click.

Maybe there is a command in *.ini file that can revert this? Thanks a lot.

Hi Vitaly, welcome to the forum!

Yes there was a change to the right-click behavior to only be a shortcut for "Done" and not "Cancel", it was discussed previously here:

But you can switch it back to v3 behavior by an option in moi.ini . Go to Options > "Edit .ini file", and find this setting:

[View]
<...>
DoRightClickCancel=n


Set it to say =y instead and you should get the old right-click canceling behavior back.

Worked like a charm. Also, thnx for the link to the discussion on the topic, I went through it and the reasoning makes sense. Appreciate you still keeping an option for the old schools like me :)
