alternative solution :) (but i didn't check WN file )

Fillet two red curves before do the loft

Replace that piece cutting with boolean, then put the new one in place

Fillet is the weaky part of Moi

thx, it's seems that sometimes it's hard to modify a existing piece, instead use a good 2D sketch first.
am I right ?

it's for that saving "Project 1", 2, 3,...can be a very cool method for artificial history! ;)
More speedy than modify directly a complex object!

Thanks to Michael, he discussed this many times on the forum, so I easily remembered it, the last time it was recently.
The place indicated by the arrow has problems, it is still unclear.
I checked again everything is fine apparently I did it sloppily the first time;)

In Moi when you make a general Fillet max Angle fillet is the maximum allowed along the general path!
(even other places along the path can accept it)

So make it and then apply a "Variable fillet" with more angle at the possible places!

In fact here no need to trim the volume! Just make your Variable fillet as you want! :)
Here maxi will be locally the right height of the object on some places!

You can put variable angle at the Vertex (here) And / Or along the path ! (not shown here)
(You can put any number of new Points on a Point Set and any number of New Point Set )

Hi Jack, the filleter in the geometry library that MoI uses does not like it if you have planes fragmented into separate faces. If you clean up the model so that coplanar areas are made up of just one large plane instead of multiple fragments then it should work.

So for your case here the easiest way to do it is to select these faces:

Delete them:

Also do the same to these ones on the bottom:

Then select the whole object and run Construct > Planar - that will fill in planar holes with one large trimmed plane and join them in.

After that you can then fillet that edge ok:
