export issue between Rhino 7 and Moi 4

Hi Michael,

before the previous release of Rhino and Moi, we would share between the two programs simply by copy+paste.
I noticed however that in the new version of moi , when I copy objects from Rhino 7 into moi 4, the objects are placed incorrectly in relation to one another.
It seems to be random as well. Meaning that, in the example that i am attaching, if I were to add another shape, such as a square, that one might be too small, or too big, or placed at the wrong location.

Also, in general, do you have plans to support opening Rhino7 files in moi? It seems we can only open Rhino5 files?
thanks

Hi moka,

The support is the same in MoI v4 as it was in Moi v3, the change is in Rhino v7 which no longer supports the Rhino v5 clipboard format.

i believe this is because it's ending up using PDF format for the transfer, and it's probably making a projection based on the active view in Rhino when you do the Ctrl+C there.

See the link above that Brian posted for a utility program that you can set up to enable 3DM copy/paste between Rhino v7 and MoI.

I'm not sure, maybe someday. I'm not really a fan of the way Rhino breaks file compatibility to older versions with every release.
