Ui scaling porblem?

Hi i have a weird issue where my UI has some "unused" space behind menu options. When I scale the UI inside the options panel those marked parts will not change and I believe that the bottom box for your dimensions contains way more info and is bigger also. What I can remember is that I used a custom scale of 105% in windows and changed that back to 100%....but Iam not entirely sure when that phenomenon started tbh
Any ideas?

Hi Chris, that looks like the kind of thing that can happen if you have installed a customized moi.css file made from moi v3's moi.css file.

If you restore the original v4 moi.css file those should go away most likely.

If you have some customizations to moi.css that you want to have in v4 if you can post your moi.css I can probably tune it up to have the new flex-box properties that the V4 UI is set up to use. V3 used an older and now deprecated webkit specific flex-box for layout. The V4 UI is structured to use the newer standard flex-box properties and if you yank those away and only have the old webkit flex-box properties set up in moi.css you will have the kind of layout problems you are experiencing.

The only thing that is custom in my .css is the color you see in the surrounding sidepanel and I never had a v3 css modified ...mhm

Edit: and resetting that .css didnt changed the issue

After installing the v4 release it went back to normal....maybe it was a borked .css
Is the chippwalter gui changer maybe not up to date and could have damaged something?

Hi Chris, Chipp's gui editor is for v3 and isn't set up for v4. So if you're using that you're also getting a v3 moi.css file with the wrong kind of flexbox attributes in it.

But if you have one colorized how you want if you post it here or send it to me I can tune it up to have the v4 flexbox attributes.

Hi Chris:

re:

Kind of... The best was is to use a diff utility comparing your moi.css with the default installed one for v4.

Then you can see the places where they are different. Keep the properties that are setting color values, but update any flex-box proertie.
