MOI3D v 4.0 decimal separator

Hello,

I'm running MoI v. 4 on Macosx 10.15.7, with the comma as decimal separator.

I've noticed that when you create an object (eg. a line), you must use the period as decimal separator and the comma as coordinate separator. For instance,

1.2,4.5

...instead of the comma and, say, the semicolon, respectively, e.g.

1,2;4,5

Perhaps a future version of MoI could let users customize separators.

Cheers,

pr1

Hi pr1, if you are using the comma as the decimal separator MoI will be expecting you to have a space between the coordinate values.

So for example when drawing a line to place a point at x = 5,2    y = 10,3 you should put in:

5,2 10,3

hi.
you could also use space as the coordinate separator

http://moi3d.com/4.0/docs/moi_command_reference1.htm#__XYZ%20/%20Distance%20/%20Angle

1,2 4,5

best,

Hi Michael and Marco,
Thanks for your feedback.
Apparently, both periods and commas work as decimal separators, as long as you use spaces as coordinate separators:
5.2 3.4
or
5,2 3,4
That's cool.
Cheers,
