"Closest point" is not the same as "front surface, it distorts
the projected curve in search for the closest points, have
you realitzed that, Pilou ?

How do you want project a curve on a sphere without deformation ?

I meant deformation relative to the deformation of the parallel projetion,of course.

Sorry no, not currently. For now you will need to delete the back one, or split the target object so it doesn't have multiple pieces projected onto it.

I would like to do an overhaul of the project command in v5. Also the "closest pt" option tends to produce bad output, it isn't really usable currently either.
