By the way could anyone of u compare Onshape with 123D Design? it terms of lightweightness & filleting ability?
I also faced few problems regarding Uninstallation of Fusion 360 (I know this is not a place to seek help for that ;) but I thought maybe any one of you could help, So, If u think you can help I will tell u what my problem is!)
1-Go to the Start Menu > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs.
2-Select the existing Autodesk Fusion 360 entry from the list and click Uninstall.
-> *Sometimes this step will not work depending on what happened to the installation files. If that is the case move onto the manual deletion steps below)*
In my case this didn't work! So, I went to this link:
and downloaded "Fusion_360_Cleaner.zip for Windows" and then executed it! It seems it was able to remove Fusion 360. But my problem is that when I go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features I still see Fusion 360 ( however the icon is not there but it says it has occupied 2.54 GB on my drive!
Edit: I just need a companion program for MOI to do the fillet job! While I am waiting for MOI to improve its filleting abilities :)
So, I am looking for a preferably lightweight and free/open source program. if you have worked with Onshape & 123D Design before which one you suggest?
123 Design will be perfect because it's very easy!
Design Spark Mechanical 5.0 (free) is less easy and export / import with Moi is a little tricky!
OnShape is middle easy and only Online...
Which version of 123d design is that? I think it`s the first iteration because later layers were turned off. I can`t find that old version with layers. Do you think that the older version is better than the newer one? I think it won`t try to connect with Autodesk and those layers are useful.
Do you have any opinions about that version from that screenshot?
Because I don`t have this software only print screen from net :) it`s hard to click anything on the image ;)
I can`t find this particular version. I`ve found others but not this one.
From this "French Site" it's more a beta 123D (6.1) for Fusion 360...
Scroll/Click the Horizontal images : your is N°7 / 9
I believe that you can download it! Will be in English! ;)
Only for Windows! (not tested because i have yet 123DDesign 2.2.14 and Fusion ;) https://autodesk-123d.fr.softonic.com
If I select the solid(s) then I can fillet up to around 0.5. If I select just the outer face I can't get a fillet. Sometimes fillet needs multiple faces to be selected. I suspect it has to do with the smaller angle.
Michael would need to give the technical explanation - I just know what works :)

When you target only some edges coming out from a shared vertex location instead of all edges it's a much more difficult calculation for the filleter to do because it has to extend and intersect fillet surfaces against each other rather than being able to have the fillets come to a corner junction patch which doesn't need intersections.
