Hi Colin, that's unusual behavior and it's probably an issue with the video driver. I would recommend to update your video driver to the current one available from the manufacturer's web site.

Autocad black screen Google search yields a couple of ideas

1. Turn off hardware acceleration?

2. Nvidia driver.
