The problem is that the 3.0 Beta version is old and has long since expired. The only way to run it is by using a "cracked" version that has been modified to have the expiration removed and it's those modifications that is causing the MoI exiting problem that you are running into.
If you have a MoI license then make sure you are using the final release version of v3 which you can get by putting in your license key at http://moi3d.com/reinstall.htm and also the v4 beta release is available at http://moi3d.com/beta.htm .
