the field is empty so there was no template file in it. I never used a template file. Out of the sudden that lines are in that blue color code but I haven't changed anything and also the other files are fine and use black lines when drawing.

Hi Axel, what does your scene browser Styles section look like? Is there an outline around the Blue color swatch? That outline indicates the "active style" which is the one that will be used for newly drawn objects.

You can set the active style by right clicking on the color swatch of a style in the scene browser Styles section. If you right click on the black one that should then make newly drawn objects assigned to the black style.

Please let me know if that's still not it.

thanks again for your fast reply. Indeed that was the issue. Recently I group selected a color there and in that moment I guess it happened that I switched the blue color code on. I was not aware of that feature!
