Hi 3d2cnc, the Transform > Align command uses the center of the object's bounding box as the point to align. That won't do what you need on a star polygon because the top point of it sticks out further than the bottom 2 legs.

So you would instead need to use the Transform > Move command to do the placement, not Transform > Align. Or better yet is to just draw it in the desired place from the start and don't try to use an additional Align on it.

You should document your procedure, as a method to "distress" graphics to look more natural, and less artificial :-)
