Hi Scotty, the way it works is you save from MoI as a .3dm, and then use the 3dm2sculpt utility program written by Cindy Crabgrass which can translate a surface inside the .3dm file into a Second Life Sculpt Map.

Sculpt maps work in Second Life as a kind of rectangular sheet. You can't just convert any type of model into a sculpt map, the converter is expecting to have just a single surface in the .3dm file, nothing that has been trimmed or booleaned for example.
