Hi Sharif, that golden snap works by setting some things on the current point picker, it's a "one shot" type thing, not something that is persistent like the regular snap options are.
So because the mechanism it uses is not persistent, it won't really be possible to set it up with a checkbox type option like the others.
It could be possible to make it work in a one-shot fashion though to activate when you pick that menu item, for that you would want to have the script run on the onclick="" handler in that menu item, like I've set up in this attached version.
