After careful consideration I'll stick to using MoI for what it does best, making kick ass complicated parts that would otherwise take forever and a day to do with poly modeling. It took me about 9 hours in total to poly model a brake caliper. I'm quite good with Blender so I could combine the two, poly modeling for the body and then use MoI for the wheels, brakes, chassis, suspension etc etc :)
