How was this tetrus created? With T-Splines for Rhino?

So Surface Evolver works by area or energy minimization..., which is what the tetrus is supposed to have.

A rounded filleted triangle on the ground
Sweep a circle
Copy rotate

@Brian Yes, i used T-Splines Demo with Rhino Demo.

Well, i could try the Tetrus also with Surface Evolver, but i assume then it would be much thicker in some areas and then i'm not able to run it through T-Splines, because i have never tried to obtain quads out of Evolver...

click on the left image (10:20: Steven An) and in the directory click "steven-txs-pkg" directory.

Looks quite different than what i thought...
