Crazy news. I can't see how it'll stay free though, as Trimble maintained in the Google blog. All of those industries Trimble caters too are rather pricey about absolutely everything. It's rather bizarre news format wise... 3ds, maya, houdini, shade, modo, ultimate unwrap, and so many others may have put the effort into dae probably because of sketchup. Wonder if Mr. Michael knew... hmm... anyhow... still want dae when you get time, lol.
