I know this has been discussed in the past but I can't find it.

Is MoI 'moo eye', 'moo eee', 'mow eye', 'mow eee' or something else? When I tell someone about it I am never sure what to call it.

Hi eric - you can pick any one you want! :)

The one I use is 'mow eye', the same way that Moai (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moai) is pronounced.

That's why an Easter Island type Moai statue is mascot/logo thing.


A different pronounciation that's not too bad is to just spell out 3 letters M O I.

i always thought you guys said it like mullah without the Ls.. which also comes out as one syllable.. (and is how i've been pronouncing this apps' name)


[edit] funnily enough, i just tried to see how my computer pronounces it and it says it the same way i do..

[edit2] oh wait, i typed mullah as a spelling for the slang meaning money (moolah?).. i don't think 'Mullah' (Islamic guy) is the same pronunciation as i intended.. i'll stop now though.. this typing of pronunciations on the interwebs can get very confusing very quickly! :D

Moi (moy) (like the sound inside "toy" makes only one syllabe and don't make the jaw's movement difficult! :)
