Awesome Paul. That looks like some of the stuff we do in SolidWorks with LINACS where I work - except for the rendering, which we can't spend a lot of time on.
Michael,
Thanks a lot for bringing MoI to the Mac platform. I still have a Windows machine but I've been migrating to the Mac platform in the last year. The beta version is working well on the 2011 iMac I got about 6 months ago.

It will be pretty soon, I'm just working through a few last issues. Maybe a few more days, it's often hard for me to know exactly when some kinds of work will be finished though.

It's been just a bit slow going since for various things I've needed to stop and do some research on the Mac programming model which I wasn't really familiar with before.
Well this is great news of course. A lot of our users with a Mac will be very happy after reading my announcement on my forum. (c4dlounge.eu)
They complained about the lack of a Mac version of Moi...
Hey I'm looking for a new modeling program and came across MoI and was wondering if you had a demo I could try for OSX? I'm ok with a save-disabled alpha/beta test type thing if necessary.
Hi rhadiem, there is not a trial version quite yet, but I am actually right now in the process of preparing one and I expect to have it available later today.
wow, great.. glad to hear it, I'll check back later.
btw, I plan on using the 3d tool I purchase for 3D CNC router stuff, so if you happen to want encouragement to integrate something like Cut3D into MoI, feel free to use this message as such. ;)
that's good news Michael. looking forward to trying the Mac public beta, right now I've had to install Vmware and Windows VM just to run the MoI windows trail ;)
