Have come up with a useful feature request ^_^

A feature to save and load viewport settings (like position, zoom, rotation etc.)

Mainly I'm using the ortho viewports (so only position and zoom), but the same could apply to 3d viewports (just add in the extra dimension and rotation).

Is that a possibility?

Currently I'm having to do some work, and then reposition and zoom the viewport to check what it looks like - would be nice to be able to just toggle between preset positions, etc.

Hi NightCabbage, those scripts that Michael T linked to can help but if I remember right those will only be remembered within one session.

I do want to make a more full-fledged "saved view" kind of mechanism in the future though.
