Makes sense ... I will do a little more exploring ... I have not seen the edit box in action.
I am just starting to use MoI on some 2d architectural drafting of some sections through the building ... that way I can compare the model with the detail on the same drawing sheet. Later I will move them to a drafting tool for refining and finishing.
In the past I have used MoI more for visually correct architectural models ... not caring about fractions of an inch or cm ... but on a present project I am doing much more precision stuff with the model as well as my usual working 2d drawings.
Most clients and many contractors don't read 2d drawings very well ... MoI makes it more feasible to give them a set of 3d drawings as well as the usual plans, elevations and sections.
