How to make a phone cord

1) Draw a smooth curve




2) Draw line
3) Create an array of lines using the Array-Circular command with vertical step option




4) Make a spiny curve using the Array-Curve command




5) Hide the curve and loft the spines




6) Extract edge (select the edge, press Ctrl and drag it)




7) Draw a profile curve and sweep it along spiral




8) That's all folks.... hehe...
Of course, it isn't perfect, but MoI's commands tend to be funny like Lego...

Did you notice that Guillaume (MRGAG) already had a phone cord attached to his boat radio (see thread "BOAT RADIO)?
I never asked myself how he did it. You have to now what the capabilities of a program are before you really understand the complexity of a shape. That is what I like about 3D modelling...
