Hi Rainer, hopefully I'll be able to do a twist function for v3.

The new version of the geometry library that I use has some stuff in it now for deforming solids, and if it works well it should be possible to use that to make a twist command. I have not yet had a chance to test it though.

In fact Twist or Bend are more Polygons functions of "box deformation"
That is a sort of perversion to use them in Nurbs :)
It's "post" modeling : spirit of nurbs is more think before for create curves generator

Sure when it's possible that give more flexibility to modeling ;)

Twist, taper, and bend are important in any modeling paradigm.
