I try to survive/study with v1.1 trial sofar. Planning to purchase lisense before summer.

Hi d3, yeah the "ImportPart" command that includes the orientation mechanism is new for v2, also there are some demo videos of it here:

But the just plain "Import" command is available in v1.1, that will allow you to merge in a previously saved part but then you will have to use stuff like the Move or Rotate commands to position it.
