Well, when a company is acquired its contracts are also acquired, so then I would have a contract with Autodesk for licensing Solids++ from them.

So it would not necessarily be any instant bad effect, but it is hard to imagine that it would be very good either because Autodesk is not really focused on that kind of business of licensing geometry libraries to other companies.
