Hi all

Yes it is a fun project, i use to own that model. The only thing i have now is the blueprint to build it :).

Another Moi preview.

Since i am doing simple, you can see that the most part are easy to do with the boolean operator, with the extrude, Loft and sweep.

Plus another Render from C4D.

Beef the light and set ambient light. When model finished i will take time for the texturing.

I love it! Great inspiration!

I was just telling the wifey the other day that when I was a kidd, we didn't have all the stuff kids have now - I had a Billy Blastoff which was basically an boy in an astronaut suit with a gear sticking out his butt :-P

When you sat him down in the various vehicles, the gear would of course turn the wheels and off he went - you don't see innovation like that in kids toys these days! LOL! :-D
(Just kidding of course...)

Where would be the fun of making it easier, better to follow and learn with Moi 3D.

I do have it installed on my computer to check it out but i prefer my way, that way i use moi and better myself.

Hi again,

Something old and decided it is time to redo it, some part I didn't like and today I take time now to play more with my 3D software.

Modeling in Moi / rendering in Cinema 4D

the only thing I am not certain is how much I will do on the model for skin like (modeling) or it will be textures.

Another Update.

Changed the leg detail and added more to the legs.

By the way Michael, I love the way Moi is quick. I work on it this model when I am at lunch at my work, usually an hour. I work on a Ultrabook Core i7 (only 2 core/4 thread) with 8 gig, when I find it starting to be a little slow, I copy/paste into a new moi instance, work the part and copied back to the main model. But this work flawlessly.

I know my model need to be optimize, but I need to get each part done to get an option in my rendering where I get the option to choose Cell, that will outline the parts, that is the way the render is making a feel like each part can be seen like that. But I have to optimize, too much objects in the scene.

Just to let you know at the moment the V3 beta, latest work pretty good for me, no problem at the moment. Anyway on the Boolean, cut and chamfer :).

Hi Denis, it's coming together really well! That's really cool that MoI is quick enough for you to get stuff done during lunch time!
