Hi Pilou, one method is to draw a line in the direction you want to find it in, and then use "Perp/perp" snap to find the closest or furthest point between the line and the curve, that looks like this:

But there is also a BoundingBox command in v2 which you can assign to a keyboard shortcut, that will build a tight bounding rectangle around a curve and then you will have an intersection snap where the furthest point of the curve touches the bounding rectangle. That may be the easiest.
