How can i project text on a round surface?

For example if i want to engrave text on a bottle how can i do it?
I´m still not ver experient in Moi but honestly i cannot find way to do it.

Hi Lemoine, there is not currently any function to wrap text around a surface.

Currently to place text like you are talking about, you would need to rotate individual characters into place and then boolean them.

I do want to add in a function for that in the future but I'm not sure exactly when that will happen yet.

Depending on what you are doing, you may want to use texture maps in a rendering program to make this kind of detail rather than modeling it. Also often for engraving or embossing type work one of the displacement brush based modeling systems like 3D Coat or ZBrush can be a good general tool for making raised or lowered details on surfaces.
